I am a landscape artist, working with traditional oil paints and also with hand-made pastels of pure pigment. I work en plein air, working outside in all seasons to really see and respond to the landscapes and weather – with intellect and soul. My studio is in Ebbesbourne Wake in Wiltshire however I travel extensively with my paints and pastels around this country and into Europe, to find places that move me to draw and paint.
Commissions for landscape views and houses are welcome.
I developed a love of the countryside from a young age and have always been an outdoor man passionate about weather. After training for two years in Rome, I combined leading walking tours through the Italian countryside with my development as an artist.
There is always work to view in my studio where a bi-annual exhibition is held, I am always happy to receive visitors there.
My work has been exhibited widely in England and Italy since 1993.
